DMC/WSU Department of Surgery Plastic Surgery Residency
The Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Residency offers a strong academic and clinical foundation to train residents to become outstanding comprehensive plastic and reconstructive surgeons. The training program seeks to develop in its residents sound surgical judgment and technical ability by developing graduated responsibility in all aspects of patient care. The program provides a range of clinical and academic experiences to foster competence and independence in the preoperative evaluation, clinical decision-making, operative skills and postoperative management of the plastic surgery patient. The educational curriculum is designed to expose the resident to all relevant aspects of plastic surgery.
